Earlier this year during MWC, Samsung unveiled a couple of new tablets and one of them was the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, a tablet which came in either a 7” model or a 10.1” model. Well for those looking forward to a slightly larger display, you will be pleased to learn that what looks like the 10.1” model making a pitstop at the FCC with the model number Samsung GT-P5110 with 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0 + EDR on board, a 25.9Whr battery and some models appear to be sporting 3G capabilities.

While it was not revealed that this is the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1”, it seems more than likely especially since Samsung’s other 10.1” offering, the Galaxy Note 10.1”, passed by the FCC a couple of weeks ago. Assuming this is the case, for those who might have missed the news, we can expect a 10.1” 1280×800 display, a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB internal storage and will come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box.
