Samsung Galaxy S2 finally gets Android 4.0

Heads up Samsung Galaxy S2 owners, it looks like your time has finally come! Samsung has officially announced that the Android 4.0 update is finally available for you guys and will be rolling out in European countries such as Poland, Hungary and Sweden first alongside Korea today. It will eventually roll out to other markets, although no specific dates were mentioned.

Samsung has also announced that the Android 4.0 update for the Galaxy Note, Galaxy S2 LTE, Galaxy Tab 8.9 and 10.1 will follow soon, and the good news for Samsung owners still running on Android 2.2 Froyo as the company has also announced that it will be bringing the Gingerbread 2.3 update to the Galaxy S, Galaxy Tab 7”, Galaxy S Plus, Galaxy S SCL and Galaxy W from the end of March.
