Samsung Galaxy Beam up for pre-order in the UK

We’re not sure how many of you guys out there actually see the need to bring about a pico projector with you wherever you go, but if you must, you might recall the Samsung Galaxy Beam Android handset that we covered at MWC 2012 earlier this year. Well the good news is that if you were planning on getting your hands on the phone, Clove, an online retailer in the UK, has put up the Galaxy Beam’s pre-order page and has listed the device at £454.80 including VAT, or £379 without VAT.

For those who might have missed our coverage at MWC, the Galaxy Beam sports a 15 lumens built-in projector capable of projecting images/videos of up to 50” wide. It will pack a 1GHz dual-core processor under its hood with 768MB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, a 4” 480×800 TFT display, a 5MP rear-facing camera capable of 720p HD video capture and will run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread although it was not mentioned if the device would be getting an upgrade to Android 4.0 in the near future.
