Samsung Facebook page shows Galaxy Note with ICS
Here’s another render which might spark some online speculation. However, the hype will not be anywhere as large as that generated by the new Samsung flagship product Galaxy S3. This time, the source of all the commotion comes from Samsung itself. The Samsung Mobile USA Facebook page displays the picture above as we speak to promote its “Spin & Win” promotion which offers patrons a chance to win a spanking and gorgeous new Galaxy Note.
If you were to look closely at the Galaxy Note pictured in the promotion, uses the ICS launcher and icon pack but Gingerbread labels, the old Android 2.x.x search widget and to cap off the confusion, the TouchWiz notification bar. With only this as evidence, it would not be right to immediately speculate that the ICS update due for the Galaxy Note would see Samsung ditch TouchWiz especially when the ICS leaks for the international Galaxy Note have been completed with an overlay of TouchWiz as it is with the recent Samsung Galaxy S2 update.
We don’t know what the purpose of the picture or whether is even just a simple mistake but the safe money is on the fact that when ICS hits the Galaxy Note, it would look more TouchWiz-ish than what is pictured above.
