Rovio CEO announces turn around news that Angry Birds Space WILL come to Windows Phone

In an earlier report, Rovio CMO Peter Vesterbacka announced that Angry Birds Space, the latest of the popular franchise will not feature for the Windows Phone. In a turnaround statement just now, Rovio’s CEO Mikael Hed says that Angry Birds Space is in fact being reworked to make its appearance in the Windows Phone Marketplace.

Hed says that although it will be difficult to rewrite the entire program to make it compatible with Windows Phone which not only has access to the first instalment of the game but also sees it as their most popular application, they are more than willing to put in the effort to make the game playable on the Windows OS.

It is very unusual that two high-level executives give completely opposing statements about the flagship product of the company but in the mean time, we can take the CEO at his word and assume that the amazing game will also feature for all the Windows Phones. For all the readers who were downcast about the earlier report, don’t be sad becauseyou will have the ability to shoot animals with other animals in a zero gravity environment soon (hopefully).
