Heads up Samsung Galaxy S2 owners on UK carrier O2, it looks like there might have been some confusion earlier regarding the Android 4.0 update which was reported to be available only in mid-April. Naturally this news did not sit well with many O2 Galaxy S2 subscribers since the update had officially rolled out a couple of days ago. Fortunately O2 stepped forward and admitted that the mid-April date was a mistake, and that Samsung Galaxy S2 owners will be able to look forward to seeing the update arrive by the end of March. The UK release has been confirmed by Samsung themselves who revealed that it would be available come 19th of March and would land on all networks, although we’re guessing the slight delay could be due to the update pending carrier approval. In any case, O2 subscribers with the Samsung Galaxy S2 might want to keep their eyes peeled!
