Back in 2011, Motorola and Verizon were asking existing Xoom owners to send in their tablets if they wished to get their devices upgraded to support 4G LTE. We’re sure that many Xoom owners eagerly sent in their tablets for the upgrade, but if this is the first time you’ve heard of this upgrade, or if you know someone with a Motorola Xoom who has yet to make the upgrade, you should probably tell them to hurry as it seems this offer by Verizon and Motorola will be ending come 31st of March 2012, meaning that you guys have a little less than a month to send your tablets in for the upgrade. Granted you might not see the need for 4G LTE on your tablet, especially it might prove to be a battery drainer, but if you were planning on selling your tablet off in the near future, a Motorola Xoom with 4G LTE is a lot more attractive than one with only 3G.
