Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX battery fits into the Droid RAZR

Motorola Droid RAZR owners, are you guys annoyed that the RAZR MAXX came out a few months after you got your phone with a whopping battery to match? Well if you are, the good news is that the RAZR MAXX’s battery can be implanted into your current Droid RAZR! Given that both phones essentially sport the same hardware, save for the battery, all you’d need is the battery and battery cover, available for parts dealers, and follow iFixit’s guide on how to remove the battery.

However it should be noted that all of this is done at your own risk, and there are chances of something going wrong. For example it seems that by installing this new battery, it might ruin the aesthetics of your phone as it leaves a slight gap between the SIM card door and the battery cover.
