LG Optimus LTE P936 rocks a pose for the camera, gets benchmarked
The LG Optimus LTE P936 passed through FCC last week but the device was only described as the Optimus LTE. The paperwork generated by the FCC revealed that the p936 was only tested on AT&T 2G frequencies. Obviously this phone is not meant to be for release in the U.S. Today for those of us who are following the device, we get a look at a hands-on video as well as some benchmark numbers.
Although we get a chance to see how the phone generally looks and its performance on the benchmark test, we can only make educated assumptions about the specifications as the folks over at GSM Dome have not yet reported anything else except that the handset will have a 1.5 GHz processor (no mention of core count), 720p display and will feature an 8MP camera. They also drop a hint that it has a pixel density of 320 pixels per inch (ppi) which works the screen size out to about 4.6” with a 720p screen.
About the quadrant results which you can see at the end of the video embedded above, it tots up a score of 2564. While it is not the fastest figure, a safe assumption would be that the processor is in the comfy dual-core zone. Hopefully we will get more information regarding the device and if any of you have any information regarding the device, do not hesitate to comment below because we would love to know.
