iPad 3 will come with a home button, according to leaked components

The iPad 3 is merely days away from being launched, and for those who have been following iPad 3 news, you might have stumbled upon a strange rumor that seems to suggest that the next-gen iPad will not feature a Home button. This was speculated based on the invitation image that was sent out, although in all honesty it just seems that Apple might have just cleaned the image up for presentation purposes, and perhaps everyone was just reading too much into it.

Either way, the folks at RepairLabs have apparently managed to get their hands on iPad 3 parts, the digitizer to be exact, which show cases the front panel of the iPad along with what appears to be a Home button. It also shows that the iPad 3 will be coming in black and white, which is contrary to previous rumors that suggested only a black model will be available. Then again this is merely speculation for now, so until Apple announces the device officially, we’ll take all of this with a grain of salt for now.
