With Apple’s new iPad sporting a Retina display, we’re guessing that we can start expecting to see more apps upgrading their graphics to take advantage of the new resolution, and with a bigger resolution we can expect bigger file sizes. With that in mind, it seems that with iOS 5.1, the limit for downloading apps/music over 3G/4G networks has since been bumped from the previous 20MB limit to a more respectable 50MB. Granted it will probably end up eating your data cap, but we’re sure that some users out there will appreciate being able to download their apps while on the go and not having to rely on a WiFi connection being available.
