HTC Eternity is the first Windows Phone for China

While China may have access to smartphones running on iOS and Android, it seems that they have yet to receive a Windows Phone device. Well that has changed thanks to GHTC who launched the first Windows Phone in China in the form of the HTC Eternity, and if the rumors and speculations are to be believed, it seems that many other manufacturers such as Nokia and ZTE will be following suit.

The HTC Eternity sports a 4.7” display and will sport both front- and rear-facing cameras along with a slew of apps aimed at the Chinese market. In fact, Microsoft was particularly proud of this launch and even held a press event in China that showed off the device’s Chinese-language interface, which supports not only supports simplified Chinese but traditional Chinese as well. It doesn’t look like a bad device and we can’t wait to see what else other manufacturers have in store for the Chinese market.
