Harry Potter books now available in unprotected ePub format

Are you a fan of Harry Potter? Would you like to be able to carry Harry Potter books with you on your tablet or e-reader while on the go? So far, Harry Potter has been one of the few series of e-books that have managed to stay out of the e-book market although we can’t be sure why, but it looks like JK Rowling has finally caved in and has started to offer Harry Potter e-books up for download on the Pottermore website.

The good news is that all seven novels will be available in ePub format and will be unprotected, which means that users will be able to transfer them onto devices like the iPad, iPhone, iPod touch and Andoid that are able to read ePub files. Kindle owners can expect to get their own file format support. The titles are apparently available in the US and UK at the moment, so interested buyers can head to the Pottermore website where the first three titles will go for $8 each, while the last four will retail for $10 each, or you can order the entire series for $57.54.
