According to the rumors, Google’s upcoming Nexus tablet will be built by ASUS. The original design was said to be based off the ASUS MeMo 370T, but unfortunately it looks like that plan has since been scrapped according to a senior employee at a supply chain company. ASUS is still reportedly on track for making the tablet, and if the reports are to be believed, it will feature a 7” display but unfortunately will not be powered by NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 quad-core processor which is currently favored not just by NVIDIA, but by other Android manufacturers as well. The reports have also suggested that the upcoming Nexus tablet will come priced at an extremely affordable $149-$199, a drop from its previously rumored price range of $199-$249. We suggest that you take this with a grain of salt for now, so check back with us again later for additional details.
