Samsung Korea has announced a world-wide release of a software upgrade for the Samsung Galaxy Note. The update is said to come with additional features with new S-Pen applications that have been optimized for use with the large high-end device. Along with that will be the long awaited upgrade to Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS.

The massive electronics company based in Korea announced the update as the Premium Suite starting from Q2 of 2012. One app optimized for use with the S-Pen that is included in the bundle is My Story, which allows users to create personalized digital cards for friends or family using any type of content from notes, video content, photos, voice or text.

Perhaps as a gesture for delaying the software upgrade from Q1 of this year, Samsung will provide special offers with the latest instalment of the famed Rovio Angry Birds franchise, Angry Birds Space. A special package of 30 challenging levels dubbed ‘Danger Zone’ will be available for free if unpacked within a 3 month period. Finally there will be an exclusive Galaxy Note level for all Samsung Galaxy users. Do let us know if you are one of the many who have been anticipating the software upgrade for the Galaxy Note and which part of the bundle do you put the most emphasis on, the Angry Birds Space levels, the S-Pen applications or the most likely, Ice Cream Sandwich.
