If you own a Nokia N9, you will be pleased to hear that browsing on your phone just got a lot better as a new version of FireFox for the N9 has been released alongside a Flash Player from Nokia that acts as a plug-in to the browser. Unlike mobile browsers, the FireFox for the N9 will load full webpages on your phone, although we’re guess that could be a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it, and the type of content that you are trying to load, although in this case Nokia is trying to make the argument that a full-fledged browsing experience will allow you access to all the features of a website that a mobile browser can’t.
The browser will allow for tabbed browsing, support for add-ons much like the desktop version, and will also sync with your FireFox account which means that bookmarks and passwords saved on your desktop FireFox can be brought over onto your mobile device. Both the Flash Player and FireFox browser are free and available from the Nokia Ovi store, so head on over for the download.
