We just reported that Verizon announced that “Something is coming” according to their website, and it looks like AT&T has something similar up their sleeves as well! Pictured above, the carrier has announced that something is “coming soon”, and interestingly the announcement was made a day before Apple’s announcement of their next-generation iPad, the iPad 3 or iPad HD depending on which of the rumors you believe. Now there have been rumors and speculation that the iPad 3/HD could feature 4G LTE connectivity, which we felt might have been wishful thinking, although given how many Android 4G LTE capable tablets there are in the market today, perhaps Apple thought it was time to play catchup. Either way both AT&T and Verizon currently offer iPad plans, and more interestingly both carriers have 4G LTE networks of their own, so are we looking a coincidence here or could a 4G LTE capable iPad be launched? In any case the launch will be taking place in about 9 hours, so stay tuned and we’ll keep you updated!
