To Archos G9 owners out there, it looks like your tablet is finally receiving its highly anticipated Android 4.0 update. It was reported about a week ago that the G9 would be seeing the update in the coming weeks, but we guess Archos really buckled down and got to work on releasing it ASAP for their users. The update will be made available starting from today and will be an OTA update, so just look at the lower right hand corner of your device for the “A” notification, select it, download the update and you’re good to go! Let’s hope that Archos did not rush the update out as nothing kills the user more than an update plagued with bugs. In the mean time for more information on the update, check out its press release.
