According to some analysts, they believe that Apple needs a truly revolutionary product for 2012 if they are hoping to keep investors happy, so unless Apple’s next-generation iPhone truly amazes and wows the crowd with its features, it looks like we might have to wait until 2013 before we can see something new. That’s if the rumors are to be believed. According to Japanese website, Macotakara, it has been reported that Apple is planning a 5” Retina display device that will be launching in 2013.

Unfortunately it was not mentioned as to what sort of device that might entail – could we be looking at a 5” iPhone like the Galaxy Note, or could we instead be looking at an iPad mini? There have been many rumors that have suggested that Apple is experimenting with screens of different sizes , particularly that of a 7.85” iPad mini, and lately there have been suggestions that Apple’s next-generation iPhone could feature a larger display in either the 4” or 4.6” variety. Either way we suggest you take this with a grain of salt for now, but check back with us again in the future for additional updates.
