An app where the retina display on the iPad seems to be a pre-requisite
Ever since the new iPad was revealed, developers have been hiking up the graphics to their applications to make it look beautiful on the retina display device in time for it to be sold and in someone’s jittery hands. Nearly all the iPad apps were sent through the wringer and has been re-launched with ‘Support for Retina Display’ listed in the “What’s New” section.
Finally though, it seems that an app that seems destined for usage with the Retina Display even before it existed has come around. The official iTunes Movie Trailers app was launched last October and has been providing amazing crystal-clear HD content since then. Today, it got it’s Retina Display update and the wonders may behold this phenomenon for the beauty of it may strike one blind (that was just a metaphor to exaggerate a point, please don’t throw away your new iPad).
Obviously, this is the type of content that Apple invented the Retina Display for, and any new tool or fix that can be used to make movie trailers look even better is all in all absolutely fine. While the update did not come with any fixes or new features, the point perfect graphics should lead you along and not remind you about anything else.
