Angry Birds Space not coming to Windows Phone, productivity increases!
While Android and iOS users have been bent really low behind their desks shooting not only birds through space but also looks at their boss’ desk to make sure he’s not looking, owners of Windows Phones will not get the application just yet. According to a statement released by Peter Vesterbacka, Chief Marketing Officer from Rovio, there are no plans to release the latest development in the famous franchise on Microsoft’s mobile platform.
Despite the original Angry Birds still ranking 1st in the Marketplace, he confirmed that Windows Phones will not get the application yet. He claims that it would be a major undertaking to release the app as it has to be rewritten from scratch and Windows Phone users will have to wait until an Asha Series 40 version is confirmed. Now we can go back to the argument about the glass being half empty of half full.
Instead of brooding that you will not be playing the new much enjoyed game (i’m sorry), you can instead be happy about how much more productive you were this week compared to your Android and iOS wielding counterparts and on a personal note, I can vouch for that so I’ve put my phone as far away from me while I work.
