For this latest instalment, Rovio has set the game in Space.

The previous version of Angry Birds, Rio only hit the 10 million mark in 10 days which proves to be a testament to not only the growing popularity of the game but also the generally high quality of the latest game. Another very probable reason as to why Rovio has hit such high numbers with the latest instalment of its franchise is because it was released simultaneously across Mac, PC, Android and iOS platforms and therefore managed to garner users across all the above mentioned platforms.
