While devices over here in the states are still waiting for their Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update, manufacturers over in China are busy churning out devices with Android 4.0 preinstalled in the form of a 10” and 9.7” tablet by David Industrial in Shenzhen. The hardware specs of either tablet appear to be roughly similar – both are powered by A10 processors and feature 512MB of RAM, although the main difference is that the 9.7” model will feature 8GB of internal storage, dual-cameras, while the 10” model only sports 4GB of internal storage and only a front-facing camera. Both tablets come with Android 4.0 preinstalled and according to reports, they both run quite smoothly. Unfortunately no word on pricing, but they appear to be limited to the Chinese market for now, and it seems highly unlikely that either tablet will be making its way stateside.
