Good news – if you have been eyeing Sprint’s upcoming ZTE Optik tablet, it is now officially available from the carrier starting 5th February for $99 on contract. However for those who do not wish to be tied down to a contract, the ZTE Optik can still be picked up at a somewhat affordable $349.99 at full retail price. For those who might have missed out on the ZTE Optik news or who might have forgotten, the Android 3.2 Honeycomb tablet sports a 7” display, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor under its hood with 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage but unfortunately it will only be shipped with 3G radios, meaning that users will be missing out on LTE or WiMax connectivity, but then again it’s a bit hard to complain when you’re only paying $99.
