Sony Xperia U leaked ahead of MWC 2012

With MWC 2012 around the corner, we have to wonder what Sony has in store for us. The Sony Xperia S was revealed at CES 2012 earlier this year, and thanks to a ton of rumor, speculation and leaked images, we know that Sony has at least one other device planned, the Kumquat, or the ST25i, or better known as the Sony Xperia U. If you’re wondering how the device looks like, we now have additional photos of the Xperia U pictured side-by-side its larger sibling, the Xperia S.

For those who might have missed all the rumors, or who might have forgotten, the Xperia U is said to feature a 3.5” 854×480 display along with a 1GHz dual-core processor under its hood. It will also feature a 5MP rear-facing camera and at the moment it is unclear if Sony will be releasing the handset with Android 4.0 or Android 2.3 on board, although if we had to guess it will most likely be the latter and will see an update in the not-so-distant future.
