Sony Tablet P now available from AT&T

If the clamshelled design of the Sony Tablet P managed to catch your attention, you will be pleased to learn that the tablet is now available for purchase in the US. Granted it has been out in other markets for a while now, but we guess better late than never, right? It will be available via AT&T for $399.99 on a two-year contract.

For those who might have missed the news on the Sony Tablet P when it was announced last year, the tablet sports two 5.5” TruBlack 1024×480 capacitive touchscreen displays, an NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor under its hood, a 5MP rear-facing camera, a VGA front-facing camera, 4GB of internal storage, a full sized SD card slot, a micro USB connector, a 3,080mAh battery, DLNA support and will come with Android 3.2 Honeycomb on board.
