Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1″ model announced
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) will sport a 10.1” PLS TFT display with a resolution of 1280×800, but apart from the larger screen, the device will come with the same hardware specs as its smaller sized sibling. This means that under the hood, users can expect to find a 1GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM, a 3MP rear-facing camera, a VGA front-facing camera, HSPA+, WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity.
It will sport a 7,000mAh battery and will be available in 16/32GB sizes and will come with a host of Samsung apps preinstalled, such as the ChatON messaging service. The Samsung Galaxy Tab is expected to see a global launch in March starting in the UK, but its pricing remains unknown for now. In the mean time if you’d like to check out a more powerful Samsung tablet of the 10.1” variety, perhaps you might be interested in the Galaxy Note 10.1.
