Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1N cleared for sale by the German courts

For those who have been following the whole Apple vs Samsung patent war, you may recall that Samsung tried to work around the injunction of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 by introducing the Galaxy Tab 10.1N, a tablet whose hardware remains pretty much the same as its sibling, but sporting a physical redesign so as not to infringe upon the patents that Apple claims they did.

Naturally Apple was not too happy and went after the Galaxy Tab 10.1N as well, but it looks like they have failed. The German courts ruled in Samsung’s favor and basically gave the South Korean company the green light to sell the Galaxy Tab 10.1N in Germany, stating that there were “clear differences” between the Galaxy Tab 10.1N and the iPad. So if you live in Germany and you’re looking to get your hands on the Galaxy Tab 10.1N, you should have no problems locating them in retail stores.
