Samsung Galaxy S Advance up for pre-order in the UK

If you’re living in the UK, the good news is that you will be able to pick up the Samsung Galaxy S Advance. Popular online retailers in the UK such as Clove and Mobilefun are currently taking preorders for the handset. While no specific release date was given, it is expected to start shipping late February while speculators have in the past mentioned that it would start shipping during MWC.

A quick recap for those who might have forgotten or who might have missed the news on the Galaxy S Advance – the Android 2.3 Gingerbread handset will feature a dual-core 1GHz processor, a 4” Super AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 480×800, 768MB of RAM, a 5MP rear-facing camera and a front-facing camera for video calls. The device is essentially an upgrade over the original Galaxy S.

If you’re looking to get your hands on the device in the UK, Clove is currently retailing it for £354 while Mobilefun has it priced at £349.95.
