While Samsung won’t be holding a media event at MWC 2012, we guess now’s as good a time as any for the South Korean company to officially launch their devices, which the company has done in the form of the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 and the Galaxy Mini 2, with the latter being recently spotted at the FCC. Both devices feature mid-ranged specs, which means that if and when they finally make their way into the US, expect to be able to pick them up without worrying about breaking the bank.

Starting with the Galaxy Ace 2, the handset will feature an 800MHz dual-core processor, a 3.8” WVGA display, 4GB of internal storage and will feature a 1,500mAh battery. The Galaxy Mini 2 will also feature an 800MHz processor, but will be a single-core instead. It will sport a slightly smaller 3.27” HVGA display along with a smaller 1,300mAh battery. Both will run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, with the Galaxy Ace 2 seeing a UK launch in April, while the Galaxy Mini 2 will be launched in France in March.
