Nokia Lumia 710 call bug acknowledged, update with fix coming soon

For those looking to get their hands on the Nokia Lumia 710 Windows Phone handset, you might want to hold off for now. Based on the reports, it seems that the device is facing an issue when attempting to end phone calls. Various users are reporting that when they are done with their calls, attempting to hang up by touching on the end call button is proving to be unresponsive. In fact some users have reported that their devices have locked up after repeated trying to hang up their calls.

The good news is that a Nokia employee has taken to the support forums and has acknowledged the issue. While no specific date was mentioned, the update to resolve this issue is expected to be released shortly. So far Nokia has been pretty good at addressing issues, such as the case of the Nokia Lumia 800’s issue with the battery not recharging fully, which has since seen an updated that supposedly fixed the problem.
