Looking to take your iPad gaming to the next level? Well if you are, you’re in luck as Mattel revealed a set of toy figurines during the Toy Fair in New York that can be used to interact with several popular iOS games for the iPad. These games include Angry Birds, Fruit Ninja and Cut the Rope. The figurines will feature touch sensitive bottoms and can be used to unlock special game modes with the toy.

For example with Fruit Ninja, by using the Sensei figurine, players will be able to access a new feature of the game where the player can push fruits and bombs off the conveyer belt, while the Hot Wheels game app will allow the use of an actual toy car model to do the driving why the iPad navigates it. Sounds like fun, no? While there has been no word from Mattel as to when we will be seeing the release of they toy figurines, rumor has it that the Hot Wheels bundle is expected to go on sale in May for $19.99.
