LG Optimus 4X HD announced ahead of MWC
It looks like all those rumors of LG devices are starting to pan out, and looking to top all of that would be the LG Optimus 4X HD, the much rumored quad-core handset that many had expected LG to debut at MWC next week and will most likely be the handset manufacturer’s flagship device for 2012.
In terms of hardware specifications, the LG Optimus 4X HD will feature a monstrous 4.7” IPS HD display, an NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor under its hood that has been clocked at 1.5GHz, 1GB of RAM, an 8MP rear-facing camera, a 1.3MP front-facing camera, 16GB of internal storage, a 2,150mAh battery and will come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on board.
The LG Optimus 4X HD is expected to roll out in Europe in Q2, but unfortunately pricing or availability in the US has not yet been announced. Hopefully more details will emerge at MWC next week, but in the mean time who else is excited about getting their hands on this phone? I know I am!

LG Works On Nuclun 2 Chipset
LG has been rather quiet about developing its very own mobile chipset design for some time already, where the first Nuclun SoC will soon be followed up by – surprise, surprise, the Nuclun 2. This is not the first time that the Nuclun 2 name was brought up, and up till now, there has been no devices that were released with Nuclun 2 at its heart, although that might change with the upcoming V10 successor if rumors prove to be correct.
In other words, the LG V10’s successor will most probably be released some time in the second half of the coming year, which means it will be some time before it ends up as a shipping product. It also remains to be seen whether the Nuclun 3 will hit the streets in the near future, but as with most other cases, patience is definitely called for.

LG V10 Purchase Comes With 200GB MicroSD Card
So, you are thinking of upgrading your smartphone to a newer model that will be more suitable for your use, especially when it comes to storage? Well, why not take the LG V10 into consideration, as right now, LG is about to launch a new promotion that will see you be on the receiving end of a free 200GB microSD memory card, an additional 3,000mAh battery, and a battery charging cradle if you happen to bring home an LG V10 between October 30 and November 15 this year.
Of course, there are caveats to look out for. Eligibility is based on purchasing the LG V10 from a carrier, national retailer, or online dealer, and some of the qualifying retailers include the likes of AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Amazon, Best Buy, or a carrier-authorized retailer. After picking up the phone, you then have to submit details such as contact information, the purchase location of the smartphone, a snapshot of the V10 box with its accompanying IMEI number, and an upload of a legible copy of the receipt. Online submissions will have to be received by November 30, while mail-in submissions have the leeway of being received by December 7, although it needs to be postmarked by November 30.

LG V10 Comes In Gold
Well, well, what do we have here? Apparently, the recently announced LG V10 smartphone that is obviously one of the high end handsets from the South Korean manufacturer has arrived in a new shade of gold as well – which will definitely give it a far more premium look that what it would normally come in.
This is made possible thanks to the Vietnam-based company that is known as Karalux, where this particular handset has made its way to their portfolio while sporting a gold plating on the outside. According to Karalux, the entire process will take anywhere from three all the way to four non-stop working hours to complete. As the entire shell of the LG V10 happens to be made out of stainless steel, the gold-plating process is hence rather easy and quick – which is a good thing for those impatient magnates out there. The asking price for this process will be approximately $180 thereabouts – any takers?
