If you enjoyed LG’s Optimus 3D Android handset and the novelty of a glasses-free 3D display, then you’ll be pleased to hear that LG has just announced its successor – the LG Optimus 3D Cube, or Optimus 3D Max depending on which market you’re in.

The handset will feature a 4.3” glasses-free 3D IPS display, a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, a 5MP rear-facing camera capable of recording 3D video and capturing still images, 16GB of internal storage, NFC capabilities which will feature “LG Tag” stickers, and will come preinstalled with Android 2.3 Gingerbread. No word on when LG will be bumping the handset to Android 4.0, but hopefully it will be in the near-future.

The Optimus 3D Cube/3D Max will also be thinner than its predecessor at 9.6mm and will be released on SK Telecom in Korea in March. No word on when it will be seeing a stateside or international release, but hopefully addition details of the device will be revealed at MWC next week.
