If you own a Lenovo ThinkPad Android tablet and you’re worried that you might have to trade it in or root it for your Android 4.0 fix, you might want to hold your horses. According to the company, the Android 4.0 update for their ThinkPad tablets will be headed your way come May 2012, which is part of the company’s commitment to “future proofing” their devices. The update will be an OTA update and while the specifics are not known yet, general improvements can be expected. While Lenovo may not be doing as well as other manufacturers when it comes to Android tablets, it’s good to know that they have not forgotten their current customer base who are probably itching for some Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich goodness.
