If you’re in the market for an affordable Android handset, perhaps you might be interested in taking a look at the entry level HTC One V which will be part of the company’s One series of handsets. In a way we have to admit that its design is reminiscent of the HTC Legend with its curved bottom, but naturally apart from the somewhat nostalgic design, under the hood it is a completely different device.

The HTC One V features a 3.7” WVGA LCD display, a 1GHz single-core processor under the hood with 512MB of RAM accompanying it. It will come with 4GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot that is further complemented by 25GB worth of DropBox storage for the next two years, a service which users will have to pay once the two free years are over.

It sports a 1,500mAh battery and a 5MP rear-facing camera, GPS, WiFI and Bluetooth connectivity with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on board. It will be rolled out alongside the HTC One X and One S in April, but pricing remains unknown at this point. However given its specs, we do not expect the HTC One V to be breaking the bank any time soon.
