Heads up Android users, it looks like another Google Maps update is headed your way. The update will be bringing the version of Google Maps on your phone to version 6.3 and is expected to deliver a bunch of bug fixes along with several improvements, namely to battery performance as far as its Latitude and Location History features are concerned. While we personally don’t really use those features as much, we can’t really tell if the battery performance has improved, but if you are a frequent user of said features, do let us know how the update is treating you! In the mean time we have to wonder where the love is for iOS users whose Maps application is sadly lacking compared to what Android users are experiencing.
