Fujitsu could launch handsets in US in 2013

Readers of our website may have come to realize that brands such as Fujitsu have mainly seen launches exclusively in Japan. The company has produced several notable handsets and tablets but for some reason they have not seen much exposure stateside, but it looks like that may soon change.

Fujitsu is expected to start selling their devices in Europe and is expected to debut their European handsets at MWC 2012 next week, but what about the US market? Well it seems that the Japanese company has plans for the US market as well, although if you’re looking to get your hands on a Fujitsu smartphone or tablet, you may very well have to wait until 2013.

At the moment, Fujitsu has put out both Windows Phone and Android based handsets, so it is unknown if they will be entering the European market and US market with Android, which while extremely popular will make it very hard for them to stand out, or Windows Phone, which while less popular will be easier to stand out from the crowd. Either way we’ll be looking forward to Fujitsu’s offerings, so check back with us during MWC for more information.
