To our friends and readers in China, if you’ve been eyeing Apple’s iPhone 4S for a long time and you were eager to get the device on China Telecom’s network, well you’ll be pleased to hear that the device will be launched on the carrier on the 9th of March. Best of all it appears that the device will be offered for free, but naturally this will tie the user down to a rather expensive contract we’re guessing. The phones will be offered in the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models and will be available for purchase online or via China Telecom’s authorized stores. This will make China Telecom the second carrier in China behind China Unicom to offer the iPhone on their network.
