BLU Products releases Studio 5.3 Android smartphone

If the Samsung Galaxy Note is a phone that you’re interested in getting, but its price tag is a bit unfriendly towards your wallet, well you’ll be pleased to learn that BLU Products has announced the release of the Studio 5.3, an Android smartphone who name has probably clued you in on what to expect in terms of screen size at least.

In terms of features, you would have been right if you had guessed that the Studio 5.3 will feature a 5.3” WVGA LCD display. It will also be powered by MediaTek’s MT6573 processor coupled with a POWERVR Series5 SGX GPU. It will also come with dual-SIM support and will run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Interestingly the Studio 5.3 will offer different processor clock speeds based on where it is launched, and will be available in either 650MHz or 800MHz speeds.

BLU Products has announced that the Studio 5.3 will be made available in Europe and Asia by the end of March and will be priced at 199 EUR. [Press release]
