Blackberry Playbook OS 3.0 already in the works?

The Blackberry Playbook OS 2.0 update is not yet available, but according to a tip left for N4BB, it looks like Playbook OS 3.0 is already in the works. For those wondering about the significance, the Blackberry Playbook OS 2.0 update is meant to be a major one and supposedly will bring some Blackberry features onto the Playbook. The tablet was launched last year but unfortunately despite its commendable hardware, the lack of support for Blackberry smartphones left a lot to be desired.

While the Playbook OS 2.0 will be bringing some of those missing features to the tablet, perhaps Playbook OS 3.0 will be seeing more Blackberry integration, such as BBM. Either way this is pretty much speculation for now, but if this is true, it looks like RIM is hard at work preparing the Blackberry Playbook for Blackberry 10 whose devices are expected to see a launch later this year.
