Angry Birds Space landing 22nd March with NASA and National Geographic content

Are you a fan of Rovio’s immensely popular Angry Birds game? The game has seen multiple versions released coinciding with the various seasons and the holidays, but here’s one that hasn’t been done – Space. If you’re looking forward to flinging birds at pigs in space, you’re in luck as the mobile version of Angry Birds Space will be released come 22nd of March and will see a partnership with both NASA and National Geographic.

You’re probably wondering what these two organizations might want with Angry Birds, and so do we. Apparently they’re looking to educate gamers through the game and will feature content from both NASA and National Geographic. Unfortunately the details of that content remain a mystery for now, but if you’ve been somewhat religiously buying every single iteration of Angry Birds so far, we guess you’ll want to add this to the list.
