Android 4.0 for Samsung Galaxy S2, Galaxy Note to arrive 1st March?

Good news Samsung Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Note owners! If you were worried that Samsung might be taking their own sweet time at getting the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update out to you guys, if the rumors are to believed, the update is expected to arrive for your handsets some time in March. The supposed date is set for the 1st of March according to Eldar Murtazin who tweeted this juicy piece of information. As you can see in the tweet above, the update is expected to be sent OTA or you guys can update your devices via the Samsung Kies software as well.

Given that the Galaxy S2 and the Galaxy Note are considered to be some of Samsung’s higher-end Android devices, we guess we can’t say we’re surprised to hear that they will be receiving the highly anticipated Android 4.0 update first. However since there is no official confirmation by Samsung just yet, we suggest that while the 1st of March could be a date worth marking down in your calendars, you might want take all of this with a grain of salt for now.
