Remember a few days ago we reported that the Acer Iconia Tab A200 was going to receive the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich? Well if you own the more expensive A500 and you were wondering when it would be your turn, fret not as Acer’s Australian and New Zealand’s Twitter account has revealed that the company will be releasing the Android 4.0 update for the A500 in April. Unfortunately no date was mentioned, which means that A500 owners will have a little over two months to wait for the update to drop. Given that the A500 is the more expensive tablet, we have to wonder why Acer did not prioritize that over the A200, but either way updates are updates, right?
