Remember the Sony LT22i Nypon? Well if you plan to head to the shops asking for it, you might get some odd stares as it seems that new rumors are saying that the LT22i Nypon will be rebranded as the Xperia P when it is launched. We guess we can’t say that we’re too surprised given how Sony has already revealed their Xperia S, and with the St25I Kumquat being rebranded as the Xperia U, rebranding a handset to the Xperia P really isn’t really a stretch of the imagination. The device is expected to be similar to the Xperia S with a different processor and slightly less “powerful” display. There is a good chance we will be seeing the Xperia P launch come MWC 2012 which will be taking place at the end of February, so check back with us then for more information!
