Thanks to a NenaMark benchmark test, we now know that there is still at least one more Sony Ericsson handset in the works before the transition over to the “Sony” brand. The device has been codenamed “Pepper” and sports the model number MT27i. This device will apparently be the successor to the Sony Ericsson Xperia neo V, and based on what’s been revealed about the device in the past, it is expected to feature a dual-core 1GHz NovaThor U8500 processor and a 5MP camera.

However thanks to the benchmark, we now know that the “Pepper” handset will also feature a 3.7” 480×854 display and will be powered by Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread. No photos, nor additional details of the device are available just yet, but we expect that the Sony Ericsson “Pepper” MT27i will be revealed at MWC 2012 in Barcelona which will be held some time in February 2012.
