Sony Android smartphone roadmap for 2012 leaked

Thanks to what appears to have been a leaked sales report in India by Sony, we now know that the company has plans for at least 11 devices that are scheduled to be launched throughout 2012. As you can see in the list above (compiled and recalculated in Euros thanks to GSMArena), there are several devices which sounds familiar, such as the Nypon, Kumquat and Pepper, along with a ton of never been heard of devices.

Now as a fair warning, we guess it’s not really that hard to fabricate a sales report and there’s nothing to actually confirm its authenticity, so you guys should probably take all of this with a grain of salt for now, although they do make for good discussion. Interestingly at least two devices listed above appear to have been priced rather steeply, such as the Hayabusa at €493 and the Mint at €562. It is possible that either of these two devices will be Sony (Ericsson)’s new flagship device, or it could even be possible that one of them might even be a tablet!

Either way like we said, you probably should not read too much into this list for now at least until more concrete and believable information surfaces, but for now it looks like Sony (Ericsson) will be rather aggressive with the number of Android devices they will be releasing this year.
