For those of you living in Japan and are on KDDI’s network, the good news is that WiMAX version of the Samsung Galaxy S2 appears to be headed your way. Its specs appear to remain somewhat similar to the Samsung Galaxy S2 HD LTE, with the main difference that instead of LTE, it will feature WiMAX connectivity instead. As far as specs are concerned and for those who might have forgotten, the Galaxy S2 WiMAX will feature a dual-core 1.4GHz processor, a 4.7” 1280×720 Super AMOLED HD display, an 8MP rear-facing camera, a 2MP front-facing camera, a microSD card slot, NFC support, 16GB of internal memory and will run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
