Purple Motorola Droid RAZR launching 23rd January

Traditionally alternative colors for devices tend to gravitate towards the more striking white, but Motorola may have something else in mind with the purple version of the Motorola Droid RAZR. If you are of the fairer sex or if you plan to gift the Droid RAZR to a lady friend, perhaps the purple version of the device might be a tad more feminine compared to the rather somber and dull black/gray combo.

The good news for those looking forward to getting the Droid RAZR in purple or white, 23rd of January might be the date you’ll want to mark down on your calendars. Needless to say, apart from the fresh coat of paint, the internals of the device remain the same and will set you back $199 on a new two-year contract with Verizon. What do you guys think?
