Lumigon T1 to be revealed again at MWC 2012?

Remember Lumigon? Well if you don’t remember them, we can’t say we blame you. The company originally debuted their Lumigon T1 Android smartphone back at MWC 2010 but until today they have yet to release the device. However a recent rendering of the upcoming T1 has been spotted along with a countdown clock to MWC 2012, which we guess is when the company hopes to launch the newly designed T1 which will hopefully see the light of day this time round.

For those who forgot, the T1 was expected to be in the premium range of smartphones with some impressive hardware to boot. For starters it was expected that Lumigon would be working together with Bang & Olufsen, a high-end speaker company. We’re not sure what B&O’s role would be in this – bundled headphones (as pictured above) or will we see the integration of their technology? Either way, back then the device was already sporting a 3.5” display, HDMI out, a 5MP camera with flash and a 1GHz processor, all of which might sound mid-range for now, but that was considered to be pretty decent back then.

We have no idea what Lumigon has in store for us this time round, but hopefully we will be seeing a high-end Android smartphone with hardware specs to blow the competition out of the water like they had originally planned. Stay tuned and check back with us during MWC 2012 for more information!
